I think everyone should aim to have good quality every night. Sleep is very important to everyone's overall health. When you're sleeping, your body repairs itself and the brain processes information. I like taking naps all of the time, but when I take naps, I try to aim for 30–45-minute naps. Sleeping in the darkness, quiet place, and cold temperature helps yourself to create a conducive sleep environment. I would recommend setting a certain time to get your sleep so that you have a good sleeping schedule.

Blog #3 Proper Squat Form
Having a proper squat form is very essential when lifting. This maximizes the risk of getting injured and get the proper lift to the certain area. For a proper squat you should stand shoulder width apart with your toes slightly pointed out. Next, you will act like you are sitting into a chair but with a big inhale up top, chest up, and once your legs hit around a 90 degree angle, you stand back up. A big thing is knees over your toes and squat back on your heels. Having a straight back will help prevent injury. You can dumbbell squat, front squat, single leg squat, or you can regular squat as well.

Blog #2 Weightlifting
I think lifting weights is very beneficial to the human body. It doesn't matter who you are, what size, shape, ethnicity, whatever it may be, shouldn't stop you from weightlifting. Lifting weights benefits your body making it a component of a balanced fitness. It helps with muscle strength, endurance, boosts metabolism, weight management, fat loss, and burring calories. These are just some benefits of weightlifting. Here at SRU, you can head down to the ARC and start lifting. Everyone has either a computer or phone that you can look up easy lifts for beginners. At the ARC, there is a smaller gym for individuals that don't like to be in a huge crowd for the first time. I highly encourage everyone to keep lifting or start lifting because this will 100% benefit your health!!!
